1 Italian loaf
10 shrimp
1 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon sugar
3 ounces cream cheese
olive oil
frisee cut into small pieces
salt & pepper


Preheat oven 350.
Cut 20 ¼ inch slices from the Italian loaf.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Place in oven for 5-7 minutes until they crisp and begin to lightly brown.
Put orange juice into a small saucepan with sugar and reduce by half.
Pull from heat and allow to cool.
Put in mixing bowl and add cream cheese.
Blend with an electric mixer.
If the mix is to thin add a little more cream cheese.
Heat sauté pan and add a little olive oil to the pan.
Cut shrimp in half lengthwise and toss them in mixing bowl with diced garlic, salt and pepper.
Sauté shrimp in pan 4-6 minutes until they begin to turn light orange and start to curl up.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Set crostini on cutting board and spread a little of the orange glaze on them.
Top with a piece of shrimp and more orange glaze.
Finish with a piece of frisee.
Makes 20 pieces.
